2004德洲CROSSROADS吉他音乐节吉他大师云集精彩组图

抱歉不是葛来美,这是根源的,怀旧的音乐节日,热爱布鲁斯,喜爱吉他的朋友请耐心往下看,你不会失望的.


这是2004年在德洲达拉斯举行的名为CROSSROADS(Guitar Festival)的美国现代流行音乐盛会,以布鲁斯为主旋律,并邀请了摇滚,乡村,爵士,印度民乐等各个流派的吉他音乐大师助兴,非常精彩,我尽力试着用截图配合文字的方式把这场音乐盛会献给大家,我会尽量引用大师们的原话和歌词(因为我担心自己蹩脚的翻译会曲解原意),结合我的一点点知识作为图片的说明,希望能够和各位爱乐的朋友交流,也希望能够帮助对布鲁斯摇滚这门艺术还比较陌生的朋友有所认识.
谨以此贴向我热爱的音乐和大师们致敬!



看看这次音乐会的标题就可以猜到他是今天的主角(Crossroads是他在Cream乐队时期的成名作),和批头士一起出道,屹立摇滚乐坛40年不倒的摇滚”活化石”,人称慢手”Slow Hand”的布鲁斯吉他大师Eric Clapon.从”Yard Bird”新兵乐队到”Cream”奶油乐队,再到广为流传的”Layla”,”Tears in heaven”这位大师的传奇和故事太多太多,让我们看看他下面这段话,也许可以有助于我们理解为什么当年这个英国男孩从此将一生献给了布鲁斯音乐.

And my first prize was this little book on Amarica with photographs of skyscrapers, and
praires and cowboys and Indians ,and I became obsessed with the west…So texas…I mean,

Robert Lockwood,一位祖师级的布鲁斯大师,” I think this is a special event because it almost
has in chronological order, influences of all the elders like where it started with

又一位布鲁斯吉他大师Hubert Sumlin,已经72岁的高龄,看看他手中那把写满签名的琴就知道他见证了怎样的历史,听他的琴声绝对是最纯正,最根源的布鲁斯味道…

Buddy Guy,除了Buddy还有谁能用那把斑点琴?呵呵,兴致所至和Clapton对彪起了琴,这你在他的专集里可听不到…Come on,baby don’t you want to go?back to the same old place,sweet home CHICAGO…



Jimmi Vaughan,说到他就不能不说到一个人, Stevie Ray Vaughan(80年代点燃布鲁斯复兴之火的吉他天才大师,以下简称S.R.V),因为Jimmi是S.R.V的亲哥哥,也是一个布鲁斯吉他好手,这里有一个小故事,1990年S.R.V受Eric Clapton之邀做为其巡演的嘉宾,当时S.R.V和Clapton在途中分乘两架直升机,Jimmi和Clapton在一起,但是S.R.V的那架不幸坠毁,失去挚友的Clapton痛不欲生,消沉了一年多,后来在Jimmi的鼓励下再次复出,Jimmi Vaughan的这首<SIX STRINGS DOWN>就是为了纪念自己的弟弟S.R.V的, 对弟弟的死,Jimmi在歌中唱到:
…Heaven done called another blues stringer back home…
看看歌词,里面出现的名字都是已经为音乐献出了生命的大师,他们都是听从天堂的召唤而”回家”的Blues Stringer,而台上的这三个人都是当年和S.R.V在一起演出的老朋友:

Lord thay call , another blues stringer back home.  John Lee Hooke’s upthere,Muddy(指Muddy Waters, 二战后的Chicago布鲁斯流派如果没有Muddy Waters的突出贡献，不知道会是怎样一番景象。以Delta布鲁斯为根源，Waters将布鲁斯吉他演奏发展得更有现代感。Waters的布鲁斯装载了人性的情感，真实的痛苦和欢乐)and lightin’ too.Albert King(Albert King是二战之后很重要的电声布鲁斯演奏家，他左手反弹一把Gibson的V字吉他，他的单音独奏，尤其是推弦极为细腻。他还经常用一些不寻常的调弦方式演奏，这使他的曲子让人很难模仿。King的吉他音色是布鲁斯音乐中最美的音色之一。)and Fredie(指Fredie King, Freddie King的影响推动了60年代布鲁斯与摇滚的结合。在芝加哥，他的演奏风格掀起了现代布鲁斯运动，他用他的Les Paul Goldtop和ES-335吉他将Texas布鲁斯提升到一个新的高度。当年Jimmy Page，Peter Green和Eric Clapton看到King所使的Goldtop后，都迫不及待地也各自买了一把。如果将King的Goldtop吉他连接上Clapton的Marshall音箱，你就会得到最纯正的摇滚音色。)They are paying the blues,T-bone Walker(对于T-Bone Walker，我们首先摇承认两点事实：一、是他发明了布鲁斯的电吉他风格；二、他是最伟大的德克萨斯吉他手。他对吉他音色的控制和爵士和弦的运用，没有人能与之媲美。Walker还是一个完美的表演者，在Chuck Berry和Hendrix出现的很早以前，他就在舞台上表演着背后弹吉他、劈叉弹吉他等花招。他能用简练的乐句很有效很精准地表达情感。他是布鲁斯吉他的精髓，也是发展电吉他的先驱。)Guitar slim,Little son Jackson and Frankie Lee sims, ,Heaven done called another blues stringer back home…
